Cooma Field and Game, Shoot results January 15th Perazzi Challenge.

Cooma Field and Game had an excellent turnout of shooters for the first club shoot of

2017. The event sponsored by Perazzi Australia saw 56 shooters competing for some

excellent prizes.

The two ranges were set up by some of the more experienced members of the club, with

some challenging and long targets on offer. This led to some interesting scores on the day

with some experienced shooters struggling from station to station, for the newer shooters

it was an eye opener as they were presented with targets that would be encountered at

higher levels of competition.

Experience prevailed and by the end of the day Neville Brady managed to pull off his

second perfect round at the club shooting a perfect 25 on the final round. This wasn’t

enough however to overhaul Phil Craig and Bill Warriner who battled each other all day

with Bill finally taking high gun by one target.

Solar and Tank Stage one Complete

Good progress has been made on the connection of the two new water
tanks and the start of the new solar system installation. Trenching
complete pipes and conduits in place, back filled, rock picked, seeded
and top dressed. Thanks to Jack, Bill, Marg, Ken and Carole for their
landscaping efforts.
We will need a hand with bits and pieces between now and Easter to
hopefully get the Solar up and running before the Easter shoot, we'll
keep you posted.
